Located in the southeast of Venezuela, Ciudad Guayana is one of the largest cities in the country and plays an important role as an industrial and commercial center. On the banks of the Orinoco River, the city is a key point for the transportation of economic activities. 

The destination is just 100 km away from one of Venezuela's most emblematic tourist attractions, Canaima National Park, famous for its impressive landscapes of savannas, tropical forests, and tepuis (tabletop mountains) that are a striking feature of the region.  

The cuisine of Ciudad Guayana reflects the cultural diversity of the region, with dishes originating from indigenous, Afro-descendant, and other Venezuelan influences, such as pabellón criollo, arepas filled with meats or other typical ingredients, and cachapas (corn pancakes). 

Although it is not the main tourist destination in Venezuela, the city has a strategic location and is an excellent starting point to explore incredible natural landscapes and experience the charm of the industrial and historical region of Guayana.
