Connect even more with the Amazon

Discover Borba and connect even more with the Amazon

Borba is an Amazonian city rich in biodiversity that offers lush landscapes and the majestic Madeira River, which is perfect for boat trips and adventure tourism. The surrounding nature is an invitation for those seeking to connect more with the Amazon and its natural resources. If you are looking for a quieter place, away from the hustle and bustle of Manaus, but with access to the region's natural beauties, the municipality is a great place to explore.

Borba was the first village created in the Amazonian territory and preserves a culture with indigenous and riverside influences. In Borba, you can visit riverside communities, see the daily life of those living by the rivers, and experience the typical cuisine, such as fresh fish and dishes with regional ingredients.

In June, the most traditional festival of the municipality takes place, the Feast of Saint Anthony, the patron saint of the city. During the two weeks of celebration, processions, promises, and fairs are held in honor of the matchmaking saint.
