The Manaus Airport Cargo, managed by the Concessionaire of the Amazon Airports, part of the VINCI Airports network, will participate in the 30th edition of FCE Pharma, considered the main business platform for the pharmaceutical industry in Latin America. Alongside the Superintendence of the Manaus Free Trade Zone (Suframa), responsible for managing the Manaus Free Trade Zone (ZFM), State Secretariat for Economic Development, Science, Technology and Innovation (Sedecti), the technical teams of the cargo terminal aim to intensify the promotion of logistical potential and regional competitive advantages at the event, especially with the strategic role in the distribution of products to the Northern Region.
The event will take place from June 1 to 3, at the São Paulo Expo, in the capital of São Paulo. The initiative is part of the strategy to strengthen the terminal's presence in the main debates and connections of the pharmaceutical sector, as well as to expand the promotion of the tax and logistical advantages provided by the economic model of the Manaus Free Trade Zone. The fair is expected to gather more than 20,000 participants and will feature over 650 exhibiting brands, consolidating itself as one of the main meetings of the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industrial chain on the continent.
Held simultaneously with FCE Cosmetique, the program brings together technical content, innovation, networking, and business opportunities, expanding strategic connections between companies, suppliers, and logistics operators.
The Manaus Airport Cargo has the capacity to process about 300 tons of cargo simultaneously and is currently the third largest in Brazil in terms of cargo volume handled, behind only the terminals of Guarulhos and Viracopos, in São Paulo (SP). The complex stands out for its operational modernization and the adoption of technologies aimed at security, traceability, and logistical efficiency.
The General Manager of Manaus Airport Cargo, Luciana Procoro, emphasizes: “The FCE is an important opportunity to showcase the potential of the Amazon for industrial development and our ability to offer efficient and secure logistical solutions for cargo transportation in the region. We have a strategic location, operational efficiency, and the capacity to meet demanding production chains, such as the pharmaceutical industry. We are working to ensure that strategic connections occur during the event days.”
