The general cargo manager of VINCI Airports for the Amazon airports, Manaus Airport Cargo, Luciana Procoro, is participating this Thursday (13) in Brasília (DF) in the Workshop on Air Cargo and the Express Shipment Sector, promoted by the National Civil Aviation Secretariat (SAC) of the Ministry of Ports and Airports (MPOR).
Luciana is part of the panel “Competitiveness and Innovation in Express Shipments: opportunities to boost trade, innovation, and development,” which will be moderated by the national secretary of Civil Aviation, Daniel Ramos Longo. The program brings together representatives from the government and the private sector to discuss the role of express shipments in Brazil's competitiveness, exports, innovation, and business development.
The meeting also addresses topics such as air connectivity, digital transformation, artificial intelligence applied to logistics, and trends for the sector up to 2030.
The workshop aims to promote dialogue between the government, regulatory bodies, and the private sector, in addition to discussing challenges and opportunities for strengthening air cargo and international express shipments.
Manaus Airport Cargo will complete in the coming months the implementation of the Express Shipment service in the Amazonian capital, a service that will reduce the delivery time of international purchases destined for the North region from up to 60 days to about a week.
